Dismantling

I woke up this morning and decided to take down my blog. There are many reasons for this, and I don't wish to go into them. Let's just say that I need to focus my energy somewhere else.

If you are a regular visitor and feel very upset about this, please send me a note through the comment section. I probably won't change my mind, but it sure is nice to know that somebody out there really likes my blog.

If you came by this site through someone's link, leave me a note anyway. I'd love to personally thank those people for linking to my blog.

Thanks for visiting.

I've been following your blog (and reading the older posts) for almost a year. Our family has been thinking about moving to Hong Kong. There are many areas of similarities between our situations (Christians, homeschooling, Chinese Americans, etc.) so I have been reading your experiences to get glimpses about what the transition might be like for us if and when we do move to Hong Kong for however long God would have us there. I've enjoyed your various observations about Hong Kong. =) It's also been interesting to read about your adjustments back to the US.

I will miss reading your blogs. Best regards in your new life in the States!

You must have your reasons Helen, but I will surely miss it. In fact I haven't been checking in for a while and I'm sad to have missed your latest entries. Love your HK Chronicles, they brought me "home". I also learn a lot from you in those articles, specifically how to find peace and delight in unfamiliar territory.

Hi,
I am very sad to see your blog gone.

Would there be any way you could re-publish or send me the beautiful photographs you made of this small Chinese farming village within the rapeseed fields and the buildings with earth block construction (soaked in rapeseed oil)?

Many thanks in advance,
Andy
